Keynote Speaker Prof. Dr. Carlo Masala
Prof. Dr. Carlo Masala is one of Germany’s leading experts on international politics and security. As Professor of International Politics at the Bundeswehr University Munich, he combines deep academic expertise with extensive international experience and a broad global network.
Born in Cologne in 1968, he studied Political Science as well as German and Romance Philology at the universities of Cologne and Bonn. Since 2007, he has shaped international security debates through his research, teaching, and public engagement.
His areas of expertise include global security, NATO and transatlantic relations, geopolitics, and conflicts in Ukraine, Syria, and Gaza. Carlo Masala is also a bestselling author and a much sought-after media commentator.

Keynote Speaker Jonas Muff
Jonas Muff is Founder and CEO of Vara, a Berlin-based company using artificial intelligence to transform breast cancer screening. Founded in 2018, Vara has become one of Germany’s leading screening and diagnostic providers, driven by a mission to make screening more effective, measurable, and accessible for at-risk women worldwide.
Prior to founding Vara, Muff was a member of the founding team at Merantix, Europe’s first AI venture studio, where Vara was originally incubated. Earlier in his career, he served as President of START Global, helping to scale the START Summit into one of Europe’s leading technology conferences.
Muff was named in Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2022 and holds a BA from the University of St. Gallen.

Keynote Speaker Prof. Dr. Ursula Nestle
Prof. Dr. med. Ursula Nestle is a renowned German physician and internationally recognized expert in radiation oncology and nuclear medicine.
As Chief Physician of the Department of Radiation Therapy and Radiological Oncology at Kliniken Maria Hilf in Mönchengladbach, she is responsible for innovative cancer treatment concepts and patient-centered oncological care. In addition, she serves as Professor at the University Hospital Freiburg, where she contributes to medical research, teaching, and the advancement of modern radiation therapy.
Through her clinical expertise and scientific achievements, Ursula Nestle has become a highly respected voice in oncology and personalized cancer treatment, helping to shape the future of patient care and medical innovation.
