The ERPW 2026 offers an excellent opportunity to actively contribute to the scientific program. We warmly invite researchers, practitioners, and experts from across the field to submit an abstract and help shape this year’s workshop.

This is your chance to share your research, exchange ideas, and highlight the important work being done in radiation protection. Whether you are working on new scientific findings, practical applications, policy perspectives, or emerging challenges, your contribution can spark valuable discussions and foster new collaborations.

The scientific program will be built around three main topics:

• Security & Preparedness
• Radiation Protection in a Changing World (Innovation, Competitiveness, AI)
• Quality of Life & One Health

We especially encourage submissions from the wider radiation protection community, including projects funded under PIANOFORTE, to help create a vibrant and forward-looking program.

Submitting an abstract is more than just presenting results — it is an opportunity to engage with colleagues, receive feedback, and stimulate meaningful scientific exchange.

Please remember to register for ERPW 2026. Even if your abstract is not selected for presentation, your participation in the discussions, sessions, and networking activities is highly valuable and very welcome. The ERPW thrives on active engagement from the community.

You will find a glimpse of the preliminary agenda  here. The topics listed within the sessions are illustrative examples intended to guide submissions. Additional contributions that fit within the session themes are very welcome. Please note that the agenda may still evolve structurally as the program develops, while the overarching three main topics will remain unchanged.
